OSHA Extends Comment Period for Proposed Rule to Ensure Crane Operators Are Qualified to Safely Operate Equipment

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has announced that it will extend the comment period on the proposed rule on crane operator certification.

OSHA said the extension will allow stakeholders more time to review the proposed rule.

Comments may be submitted electronically at http://www.regulations.gov, the Federal e-Rulemaking Portal, or by facsimile or mail, OSHA said in a press release.

Comments will now be accepted through July 5, 2018
