The 2017 Southern Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Conference will be held on Oct. 17-19 at the Ashland Hills Hotel and Suites in Ashland.
The three-day event will feature a variety of workshops and presentations designed to help employers and workers maintain safe and healthy workplaces.
The conference will cover everything from effective fall protection and fire safety measures to best practices in identifying hazards and improving ladder safety.
The keynote presentation will be delivered by Kerry Barnett, president and CEO of SAIF Corporation on Wednesday, Oct. 18 and will focus on work to move Oregon toward becoming the safest place to work in the nation.
